Welcome to all
those who arrive at this page from Andrew Bullas, the Secretary of the Club.
I would draw everybody's
attention to the fact that the club was, until very recently known, as the
Land-Rover Register 1947-1951. This stemmed from the club originally being
formed to find out solely about the Pre-Production vehicles, which were
believed to have been produced in the 1947 model year. It was then extended to
cover the first 1500 production vehicles and then to cover all the 1595cc
engined vehicles produced up until the start of the 1952-model year (and also
includes the Rolls-Royce B40 engined 81" military prototypes).
Over the years there have
been a number of people who haven't really understood why the club didn't cover
the whole 80" vehicle range, so the recent name change does that.
Basically if you have an 80" wheelbase Land-Rover then we are the club for
you.
I hope the information
contained within these few pages will be of some benefit and in any event will
lead you to us directly, either by E-Mail or snail mail if you wish.
The club rules state we exist
to "further an interest in, and provide members with information, advice
and assistance on matters connected with early Land-Rovers".

The club is always
interested to hear about any 80" Land-Rovers, even if you choose not to
become a member we would still like to know any details of your vehicles to add
to our database.
